About Me

Katie is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an IAOM Board Certified Orofacial Myologist. She received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Northern Iowa, completed her Clinical Fellowship Year in Naperville, IL, and  has been trained and certified in orofacial myology through the International Association of Orofacial Myology.

Katie has extensive experience working with children with wide range of abilities. She is energetic and passionate about supporting children and their families with their speech and language needs. Katie strongly believes in individualized treatment programs and team approaches. That is why she works closely with a wide range of other professionals to ensure the highest level of care for your child.

Katie's strongest passion falls in the area of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. Katie believes in treating the child as a whole and identifying the underlying causes of the challenges a child presents with.

Katie has a strong belief in family, so if you see her around, you will most likely see her with her husband, son, and/or extended family. Katie enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, and participating in crossfit.
